FrontPage Explorer Interface

wpe4.jpg (36777 bytes)This is a screen shot of Explorer with the Navigation View selected.

There are three panes in this window.

1.  The one on the left are the different ways you can view your web site.

2.  On the right, the top pane is the currently selected view, in this case Navigation.

3.  On the bottom you see a list of the files (documents) that make up the web site.

The Navigation View depicts the structure that will be used by FrontPage to create Navigation Bars (a FrontPage Component).

Pages can be created directly in Navigation View.  Right click a page icon (point click and hold for MAC)  and select new page from the shortcut menu.

Or, use the new page button and drag and drop the page icon to it's rightful position.

Select other views by pointing and clicking on the view you want in the far left pane.

Caution ... Pages created anywhere else other than Navigation View, for example in Editor, have to be manually added to the Navigation View.  Find the file name in the file list (bottom pane) and drag and drop to the Navigation View (top pane).
