FrontPage Components
The Banner above is a FrontPage Component.

FrontPage Components come in many flavors and from many places.  First, we'll look at those in the FrontPage Component dialog box.   Choose [Insert] form the menu bar, then [FrontPage Component]

Comment Inserts a comment into the page that will not be seen when viewed by a browser.
Confirmation Field
For use only on a confirmation page, a page that confirms submission of a form.
Hit Counter

Hit Counter     Keeps track of the number of visitors to your page. There is a reset counter feature.

Include Page
The FP Guestbook feature uses Include Page.  A page within a page.  Follow this link to learn more ... Include Page
Insert HTML
good.gif (1056 bytes)FrontPage edits html code added in HTML mode.  To add code that "will not be be checked for correctness" use Insert HTML.
Liquid Motion Animation Ah, well, Microsoft Liquid Motion Animation.   Hmmm ... do this.  [Insert], [FrontPage Component] Liquid Motion Animation.   The dialog box speaks for itself and it won't hurt.
Page Banner
There is a page banner inserted on the top of this page.    FP gets the text for the banner from the name on the page's box in Naviagtion View.
Scheduled Image
Set a specific day and time to substitute one image for another.  The component offers an optional (default) image selection.
Scheduled Include Page Just like Include Page with the ability to schedule when the page will change and a default page option.
Substitution
good.gif (1075 bytes)There is an entire page devoted to this little gem.  Use it for content that will be used frequently and is subject to change. See Substitution Page.
Take a look at the insert menu for other FrontPage Components

Timestamp -  The timestamp adjusts to new date and time  when a page is edited or automatically updated.

Navigation Bar - This page contains FP Navigation Bar component on the bottem of the page.  Tip:  You don't have to have just one.  See Navigation for more.
